Abstract

This research explores Manifestations of God’s sufficiency for His believing servants as mentioned in the Prophetic Sunnah. It highlights that this sufficiency represents one of the highest levels of trust (tawakkul) and faith in Allah. The study explains that Allah’s sufficiency covers all aspects of a servant’s life—religious, worldly, sustenance, protection, victory, and the prevention of harm and attainment of benefit. The paper analyzes various hadiths that demonstrate Allah’s sufficiency for those who rely on Him, such as the saying: “Hasbunallahu wa ni‘mal wakeel (Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs),” and the famous advice of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم to Ibn Abbas: “Be mindful of Allah, and He will protect you...»It also discusses the spiritual and moral impacts of believing in Allah’s sufficiency, such as inner peace, resilience in trials, and strength through monotheism. The study concludes that true sufficiency from Allah is attained through sincere reliance (tawakkul), inner dependence on Him, along with taking lawful means.

الملخص

يتناول هذا البحث موضوع مظاهر كفاية الله لعباده المؤمنين كما جاءت في السنة النبوية، مبينًًا أن الكفاية من أعظم مقامات التوكل والإيمان، ويوضح البحث أن كفاية الله لعبده تشمل الكفاية في الدين والدنيا، في الرزق والحماية والنصر، وفي دفع الشرور وجلب المصالح. يعرض البحث مجموعة من الأحاديث النبوية التي تُُبرز مظاهر كفاية الله للعباد المتوكلين عليه، مثل حديث «حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل ،» وحديث ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما في وصية النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم له: «احفظ الله يحفظك... ». كما يناقش البحث المفهوم الواسع للكفاية في السنة النبوية التي وضحت عدم اقتصارها على الحفظ والأمن، ويبين كذلك الآثار الإيمانية والتربوية لتحقيق الكفاية، ومنها: الاطمئنان النفسي، الثبات في المحن، والاعتزاز بعزة التوحيد، ويخلص إلى أن تحقيق كفاية الله يتحقق بالتوكل الصادق، والاعتماد القلبي على الله، مع الأخذ بالأسباب المشروعة.
