Abstract

Argumentation is considered one of the mechanisms of contemporary reading. It is an important part of the human communication experience, as well as it depends in large parts on the use of language and vocabulary, in order the recipient shall access to his goal and purpose, and whoever contemplates the novel “Washaeg Maa” will find that it is built on the contradictions of life, represented by the diversity of the characters’ ideas and the differences in their beliefs. From this standpoint, the study aims to follow argumentation with his techniques and mechanisms, and to illustrate their impact on the narrative. However the novel is relied on claims and objections between characters, which makes it a fertile environment for argumentation and used the deliberative approach to find out the depths of the text and trace its areas of influence and persuasion. This study concluded several results, including an explanation of the role of argumentation and their participation in understanding the discourse. The novel includes many types of dialectical methods, some of them are rational, such as the argument of power and waste, and some of them are linguistic and practical, such as structural methods, linguistic actions, and indication the impact of these techniques on the narrative text.

الملخص

يعد الحجاج من آليات القراءة المعاصرة، فهو جزء مهم من تجربة الإنسان التواصلية، يعتمد في أجزاء كبيرة منه على توظيف اللغة والملفوظات؛ ليصل بالمتلقي إلى غايته ومقصده، والمتأمل في رواية ”وشائج ماء“ يجد أنها تقوم على تناقضات الحياة، متمثلة في تنوّّع أفكار الشخصيات واختلاف معتقداتها، ومن هذا المنطلق تهدف الدراسة إلى تتبع الحجاج بتقنياته وآلياته، وبيان أثره على السرد، فالرواية ترتكز على الادّّعاء والاعتراض بين الشخصيات مما يجعلها بيئة خصبة للحجاج، وعمدت إلى المنهج التداولي لسبر أغوار النص، وتتبع مواطن التأثير والإقناع فيه. وخلصت هذه الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج منها بيان دور الحجاج ومشاركته في فهم الخطاب، فالرواية تنضوي على عدة أنواع من التقنيات الحجاجية، منها ما هو عقلي، كحجة السلطة، والتبديد، ومنها ما هو لغوي تداولي كالأساليب الإنشائية، والأفعال اللغوية، والكشف عن أثر هذه الآليات على النص الروائي.
