Abstract

This study aims to reveal the narrative structure within the components of the theatrical text “The Water Guardian” by the writer Abbas Hayek, whose events revolve around the water of the enchanted well. This study was entitled “The narrative structure in the play The Water Guardian by Abbas Hayek,” and it shows the importance of this study in revealing About the writer’s intellectual vision by analyzing the elements of the narrative structure in the play, and answering many of the questions raised. The writer’s control over the narrative in the play appeared with skill and smoothness, so the function of the narrative in the play appeared social and critical, calling for revolution against the miserable situation in order to change for the better, and the conflict in the play depended on the style of excitement and suspense for the events, so it appeared coherent from the beginning to the moment of enlightenment, and the main characters appeared through the gradation of events, and as for the dialogue and language, they performed multiple functions through the sequence of events via flashback.

الملخص

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن البنية السردية داخل مكونات النص المسرحي ”حارسة الماء“ للكاتب عباس الحايك، والتي تدور أحداثها حول ماء البئر المسحورة، وقد عنونت هذه الدراسة ب ”البنية السردية في مسرحية حارسة الماء لعباس حايك“، وتظهر أهمية هذه الدراسة في الكشف عن رؤية الكاتب الفكرية من خلال تحليل عناصر البنية السردية في المسرحية، والإجابة عن العديد من الأسئلة المطروحة. وظهرت سيطرة الكاتب على زمام السرد في المسرحية بتمكن وسلاسة، فبرزت وظيفة السرد في المسرحية اجتماعية نقدية، تدعو إلى الثورة ضد الوضع البائس من أجل التغيير نحو الأفضل، واعتمد الصراع في المسرحية على أسلوب الإثارة والتشويق للأحداث فظهر متماسكا من البداية إلى لحظة التنوير، وظهرت الشخصيات الرئيسة من خلال تدرج الأحداث، وأما الحوار واللغة فأدى وظائف متعددة من خلال تسلسل الأحداث عبر الاسترجاع.
