Abstract

This study explores the ethical guidelines governing interactions between men and non-mahram women through the questions posed by the Companions to Aisha, May Allah be pleased with her. The study aims to examine the nature of these questions, which reveal the ethical parameters that guided these interactions, as well as to shed light on the environment in which these questions were asked, reflecting the Companions' commitment to ethical values in their conduct. The research employs a historical-descriptive methodology to analyze the context of the questions by tracking the words and actions of the Companions who sought guidance from Aisha, in addition to utilizing the detailed academic approach common in scholarly studies, while refraining from providing biographical notes on well-known figures to avoid excessive footnotes. Significant findings include the reinforcement of ethical principles through respectful language that avoids ambiguities, focusing questions within Aisha’s domain of knowledge, and refraining from delving into personal matters. Furthermore, the study reveals the ethical context surrounding these inquiries, highlighting the Companions' adherence to ethical guidelines, such as avoiding seclusion, questioning from behind a veil, sending questions instead of seeking in-person consultations when unnecessary, and disseminating the insights gained for public benefit.

الملخص

يتناول البحث الضوابط القِيمية في تعامل الرجل مع المرأة الأجنبية من خلال سؤالات الصحابة لأم المؤمنين عائشة رضي الله عنها. يهدف إلى استجلاء طبيعة تلك السؤالات التي تبرز الضوابط القيمية للتفاعل بين الطرفين، وإيضاح البيئة التي طُرحت فيها تلك السؤالات، والتي تعكس حرص الصحابة على الالتزام بالقيم الأخلاقية في تعاملهم. يتبع البحث المنهج التاريخي الوصفي لتحليل بيئة السؤالات عبر تتبع أقوال وأفعال الصحابة السائلين، إضافةً إلى المنهج التفصيلي المتعارف عليه في الدراسات الأكاديمية، مع الامتناع عن ترجمة الأعلام تجنبًا للإطالة نظرًا لشهرتهم. توصل البحث إلى نتائج مهمة، من أبرزها تأكيد السؤالات على الضوابط القيمية من خلال التحلي بالأدب اللفظي وتجنب مواضع الشبهات، وتحديد الأسئلة في نطاق ما تتميز به عائشة رضي الله عنها من معرفة، مع مراعاة عدم الخوض في الأمور الشخصية. كما أوضحت البيئة الأخلاقية المحيطة بالسؤالات مدى التزام الصحابة بالضوابط القيمية في تفاعلهم، بما في ذلك تجنب الخلوة، والالتزام بالسؤال من وراء حجاب، وإرسال الأسئلة عند عدم ضرورة اللقاء المباشر، مع نشر الفوائد المستخلصة من تلك السؤالات للعموم.
