Abstract

This study deals with listing the names of plants and birds that were mentioned in Harry John St. Philby's trip to the Tihama Mountains through his book The Heights of the Arabian Peninsula. A translation of the names of plants and birds included in it, in addition to commenting on them, then a conclusion that clarified the most important findings of the study and the most important recommendations .

الملخص

تتناول هذه الدراسة إيراد لأسماء النباتات والطيور التي وردت في رحلة هاري جون سانت فيلبي إلى جبال تهامة من خلال كتابه مرتفعات الجزيرة العربية، وتشمل الدراسة على تمهيد يوضح الحدود المكانية لمنطقة الدراسة، وأبرز جبال تهامة التي وردت في الرحلة، ثم مبحثًا رئيسيًا يورد نص الرحلة مع ترجمة لماورد فيها من أسماء للنباتات والطيور علاوة على التعليق عليها، ثم خاتمة وضحت أبرز النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة وأبرز التوصيات.
