Abstract

This is a historical and documentary study of the life of The companion, Umm Hani' D/O Abi Talib, the cousin of the Prophet (PUH). It collected the scattered sayings of what was issued from her. The study also resolved many disputes around her, including her nickname and name, her family and offspring, her Islam, and the Prophet’s betrothal to her twice, then she presented herself to him, as well as the time and place of her death. The research also dealt with the identification of the house of Umm Hani' , so that the events could be understood correctly, so it identified her house, which began from the journey of the Isra and Mi’araj, and her other house, which included into the expansion of the Holy Mosque. What is related to the location of her house, such as: Umm Hani' Door, and the pillar of Umm Hani in the mosque. Where it was not possible to understand many historical and hadith texts only after identifying the location of her house

الملخص

هذه دراسة تاريخية توثيقية لسيرة حياة الصحابية أم هانئ بنت أبي طالب، ابنة عم النبي ، جمعَتْ شتات ما تناثر منها، كما حسمت الدراسة كثيرًا من الخلافات حولها، ومنها كنيتها واسمها، وأسرتها وذريتها، وإسلامها، وخطبة الرسول  إياها مرتين، ثم عرض نفسها عليه، وكذلك زمان ومكان وفاتها. كما تكفل البحث بتعيين بيت أم هانئ، حتى تُفهم الأحداث على وجهها الصحيح، فحدَّد بيتها الذي بدأتْ من رحلة الإسراء والمعراج، وبيتها الآخَر الذي دخل في توسعة المسجد الحرام، وما يتعلق بالإشارة إلى مكان بيتها؛ مثل: باب أم هانئ، وأسطوانة أم هانئ؛ في المسجد؛ حيث لم يكن ممكنًا فهم كثير من النصوص التاريخية والحديثية إلا بعد تحديد بيتها بدقة.
